Manasvini Hindi Cultural Society of Metro Vancouver celebrated International Day of Hindi recently. 10th January is celebrated as International Hindi Day or Vishwa Hindi Diwas since 2006. Manasvini celebrated it on January 28, 2024 in New Westminster. Manasvini is founded by two energetic women Shikha Porwal & Asmita Lawrence to promote Hindi & Indian Cultural activities & celebrations.
The event included Hindi Games & Poem reciting, & book reviews of Shikha Porwal, & delicious Indian snacks. Neeraj Kumar Real Estate Team was one of the key sponsor of the event.
I also recited a philosophical poem from her book “Mansvini”. The title of the poem was “जीवन रूपी चाय” which inspires us to be in present moment and enjoy every bit of life.
A meetup was also created and many members of India in Metro Vancouver joined the event and had fun.
